This occurs by matching such youth one-to-one with caring and compatible adult mentors. Be A Mentor follows a simple, but encompassing goal - that any youth that wants or needs a mentor has one.

POSITION SUMMARY

Our Business Developer will have an in depth understanding of diverse nonprofit funding strategies that include sources of revenue from private foundations, government, local and national businesses, and individual donors. The demonstrated ability to build and manage a team of professionals in each of these strategies is essential.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

· Create and manage outreach campaigns to businesses and foundations using our existing CRM

· Communicate and build partnership relationships with business C Level executives and with foundation decision makers for the purpose of obtaining funding

· Recruit and manage a team of business development professionals

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· A Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business/fund development

· Excellent written communication skills demonstrating a command of technical and storytelling language; includes the ability to write persuasively, clearly and concisely and to blend information from multiple sources into a single, effective document

· History of strong relationships with companies, foundations, and others that provide funding for bettering the lives of at-risk youth.

· Personal track record History of obtaining revenue

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
